about the Frable gallery
The moment you enter Uptown Gallery, the grand main staircase pulls your eye back and upward to the Frable Gallery.  This small, intimate mezzanine area overlooks the Main Gallery, and is connected to it by a balcony and the handsome staircase.  The low-ceilinged gallery area (about 7' high) has lots of natural light and plenty of artificial light for evening viewing.

Holding from 15 to 40 small works (16 x 20 or smaller), or about 10 to 12 large pieces, the Frable gallery has ceiling height is 76 inches, with 72 inches of wall space below the picture moldings. Three wide windowsills are perfect for your business cards or bio, or even for miniature paintings.

To exhibit in the Frable Gallery, you must be an exhibiting member in a juried arts group or you may ask Uptown Gallery to jury your work before signing a contract to exhibit. Exhibits last about two months with exhibit periods:

    Jan.-Feb.     Mar./-April     May-June     July-August     Sept.-Oct.     Nov.-Dec.

Exhibit periods are reserved by paying a $25 deposit and signing a contract for the desired time period. Cost is $200 ($175 for Uptown members), due upon delivery of artwork. Commission on sold work is 30%.  Please contact Uptown Gallery at [email protected]  to learn more.
